  • What happens to my pet's ashes if I choose a communal cremation?

    A Getz family member will scatter your pet's ashes on private land located in Dona Ana County.

  • Do I have to schedule an appointment to set up cremation services for my pet?

    No. Everything is based on a walk-in basis. Come in when you are available and we will assist you!

  • Are the Urns sealed once my pet is placed inside?

    Yes. We secure the ceramic urns after your pet is placed inside with a special adhesive. This adhesive can be removed or you can always request that the urn be left unsealed.

  • Are my pet's ashes secured inside the urn?

    Yes. Your pet's cremains will be placed in a sturdy clear plastic bag that will be securely closed.

  • What happens to my pet’s blanket if I choose to not have it returned?

    If you choose to not have your pet’s blanket/towel returned, all blankets/towels, still in usable condition will be donated to the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley.

  • What items can be cremated with my pet?

    If you would like to have an item cremated along side your pet, we are able to accept: small blankets, small toys without rubber parts, flowers, treats, cards and photos.

  • Does Forever Friends Pet Services provide any veterinarian/euthanasia services?

    No. Forever Friends Pet Services only provides cremation services for companion animals. 

  • Does Forever Friends only provide cremation services for dogs and cats?

    No, we provide compassionate cremation services for pets of all shapes and sizes, including exotic animals. Our goal is to offer respectful services for our beloved pets, recognizing that they come in all different forms.
